Brief
Glasgow Folk Workshop is an established charity that provides lessons in traditional instruments. They were looking for someone to help manage their social media to increase the number of people attending their courses and events.
Approach
After a meeting with the board, a plan was put in place with the strategic aims of increasing course participation and promoting the new Juniors classes. A set of graphics were designed to make announcements more easily recognisable on facebook and twitter feeds, while a mailout was created to target schools and organisations to promote the Juniors classes.
Outcome
One term in and numbers have already increased across most classes. There has also been more engagement with additional events such as Celtic Connections workshops.
